Here is a dumb question...are all Ertl trains free rolling.

Not all, some are pull motor, and bandai (which is Ertls cousin in thomas) had motorized cars

I bet I got even more on my Christmas tree every year! Anyway, that is a nice display of a nice, varied collection! I like the Take Along metallics there! I also like those ERTL models of Emily, Spencer, and S&M 2!
