Hi guys, I just wanted to touch up on something that I'm not so clear about. I know many people on BPT have a powerful Gordon but how many people on this forum have a box for it. The train itself is quite rare but you can find it without putting to much work into it but whenever I have been looking for one I have always found a powerful Gordon but I have never seen one for sale with a box. I just wanted to see how many of you had a powerful Gordon with a box. Here is a picture of the box from the wiki page

I do not have one with a box yet:/...I have only seen 2 come up for auction in the last year...I tried for the one that was in a large lot of all bnib first edition Plarail that sold for thousands, and the other was a single bnib PG that I think went for $600? Ripley would probably remember too, as we both were following them...They are very VERY rare which unfortunately makes them outrageously expensive.Sad
I still do hope to find one someday, as it is the last truly rare piece that is missing from our collection. (Except for that darn TnA Henry box!!) lol
That's what I thought. The box for both of those trains are very rare. But I think the tna Henry box is rarer
Yep I recall both of the PG with the boxes that came up for sale. Tha one in the large lot was awesome, but yeah went for a pretty penny. The other one I believe was around $600 - $800 in the end. Cool

The TnA Henry with box was probably one of my best scores. I could not believe that I ended up wining it for I believe 1200¥ or 2800¥ (either way an amazing deal). It is by no means mint but I have not seen another one. Of course I have not seen another TnA Gordon box either but several of the trains have been up for grabs.
Yeah, a Tna Henry and Percy just sold on jauce. Percy had 19 bids and Henry had 13. I guess the Japanese are also after these rare and beautiful trains

Did they have boxes?

No they didn't, they were loose
I am new to this site but I have a growing collection of Playrail Thomas Trains. I have a Splatter and Dodge, a Murdoc, a TS-05 James, a T-04 Gordon, a Thomas, A Diesel 10, and that's it. I may seem like a moron for asking this and I can;t find any results, but what is a TNA Henry box. Can anyone show me a picture. Thanks
Hi DJ
Welcome to the site.
They are talking about the box that the train came in when new.
The TnA's were released in Japan in early 2000's so to find them with boxes is very rare.
Here is an example on a James and a Percy TnA with there boxes.

Hope that helps.
Hello DJ welcome to BluePlasticTracks

There are absolutely no dumb questions here as we all started out not knowing everything. If it weren't for all the questions I have asked here and the generosity of the knowledge of our membership and their willingness to share I would only know a fraction of what I know now. I attribute all that I know from being here at BPT's.

I am not absolutely sure with your question if you know what TNA means or asking what a TnA box for Henry looks like...if you don't it refers to the Talk & Action line of Thomas trains.

If you are looking to expand your collection you have come at the right time as our own Mr Ripley is selling off his huge collection right now.
