the animal train is looking good in its new colours, sprayed the main body matt olive green and the 'undercarriage' gloss black - sorry i can't send a picture at the moment though.

wish i hadn't let this one slip through my fingers

I have that I think....it came with a car which made a chuffing sound as it went along... that battery terminal snapped off Big Grin
this is the animal express in new colours, i think that i might re do the body red

Looks good Bollard but wasn't the body red to begin with?
yes but that is coloured plastic finish, rather shiny - painting can give a more solid look i think but perhaps i chose the wrong colour, i'll try red, pillar box red or poppy red maybe.

i might be wrong, it may make no discernible difference, only one way to find out Smile
I do like the looks of that dark green and black. Maybe a little detailing in silver or gold would spruce it up.
too late i'm afraid, detailing isn't something that i'm good at although i see what you mean, if i could do it well then that would be different Wink
Practice makes perfect and the use of the super fine tip Paint Markers.
could you post an example please when you have time/if it is convenient?

the animal express isn't benefiting greatly from all this spraying, the paint is getting a bit thick now, i'll post the result eventually
