Ok...who has this Disney Parade & Magical Train? I can't find a video of it.

I have on ly seen it on Yahoo auction Japan I do not think it is considered true Plarail as I remember the box not having the Plarail logo
That might explain why I can't find anything. The yellow wheels on the carriages and the couplings made me think of Tomy.
it is Tomy just not Plarail range. It is a Tomy young Children's Toy it is compatible with Plarail but not released as such
i want one so bad... that would be a mega hit at shows!

Super, if you have an opportunity to buy this... BUY IT (if you like it of course). Very rare and collected by the same collector types who have the old 'merry go' sets. Quite sought after. Not sure if I've seen a video but I found info a while back on a Japanese blog site. If I can find it I'll post again.

When I search for info on rare trains, I usually pre translate my searches into Japanese characters and google for that. Then if you find a page you like, copy the URL address and translate the whole page. I use translate.google.com for both translation types.
there are 3 of this set listed currently at Yahoo Auctions Japan:

and Take a look at the 4th and 5th link I think you will be thrilled
Thank you very much for all the info. I really enjoy learning about these trains.

From your links it looks like they released two different sets. One set is the Disney train with engine and two coaches whereas the other is a Parade set with no engine but with a powered float and music. Does that sound right? Interesting, the one I pictured has both.
out of the 5 links link one and two are the magical train 3rd link is a three set combo sets 4 and 5 are sets I have not seen spoken about on this page yet!
the 5th is a mickey version of the merry go school bus!
