Blue Plastic Tracks

I am aware of the Pocket Monsters Pokemon train which came in a large set and also in a 3 car box but those are brown in color...is there a whole train that is gold plated?

super, yes there is. its the same as the brown one, except gold, and has different pokemon included. it has totodile, chikorita and sleepy pikachu. the brown has charmander, squirtle, mew and "peace sign" pikachu.

i have actually selected it to run on my layout at the next show. will be its first outing at such an event.



the box is blue and white with pokeballs on it.

What a coincidence that my asking coincided with you going to put it in your next show. I have seen that box before but never knew what was inside. Was it a special, limited release for some event or something? I will now know what it is next time I see it.

i dont know about release, but the box made me think it might have been an exclusive. no clue where though, and i would love to know.

yes, it seems great minds think alike! i am also using my metallic thomas set on a different part of the layout. pokemon will be front and centre, though it wont run all the time.

I managed to score one of these awhile back, but initially had no idea what it was. It was NIB and the pics did not show the train or tell what it was. It came still in the box it was shipped in from Japan as well.

A surprise package for sure Ripley.
