That’s really cool and I guess maybe it was the inspiration for the later Sodor Airport set.
It could be OTR...my memory doesn't serve me right...did that Sodor Airport Set Terminal use engine power to rotate or was that one battery operated? I like how the Vintage set rod is made in a way that has the plane go down, simulating a landing and then up again simulating takeoff.
IIRC, The Sodor airport has its own motor and the plane just circles around instead of “landing” like this one.
