I have a couple of engines and rolling stock that have screws that won't come out. Also how do I get rid of that annoying broken screw?
You have to drill it out, and you have to do it slowly and preferably under water, because if the screw gets hot the surrounding plastic will melt. Start off with a very fine drill. Good luck with that!
Which screw, where is it located?
I'll show you when I get home
if the head is stripped you can try an elastic band between the screwdriver and the screw, helps to get some purchase on the screw to try and remove it.
Just throwing it out there, but depending on how stripped the screw is, a similar sized flathead (or even a traingle) screwdriver can often get a bite of a philips screw.
