Thanks for the video Vio. Very cool and in great condition. Much faster than I was expecting. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Green Off and Red On is backwards... green/go, red/stop?

It is nearly unused condition. The red and green swap is awkward, but red was always the colour to signify activation in that era. I'm not sure why green was chosen to be the OFF colour.

It's the same in Chinese - often red will be a check mark (tick) for good and green is a cross for wrong. I think red is traditionally considered a better colour than green so it is seen more positively.

Are Chinese traffic lights the same...Red means Go, green means Stop?
