Thanks Vio, that was a great read!
The summary has been updated again: http://nayuho.hatenablog.jp/entry/2020/08/13/171333
Another very interesting read Vio. It sure is surprising information as to the origins of our favorite train line that we didn't know for sure before.
Now we have the actual timeline of all information gathered to this date.

New theory, the Highway Set was actually manufactured in 1961, not 1958. This is because the same ambulance from the set was actually copyrighted in 1961! Also, the owner of the Highway Set sees that some vehicles were copyrighted in 1958 and 1959.

NO, WAIT!!!

There is actually something from 1935 that looks like Plarail track connectors!!! We believe that there is a deeper connection than those Keystone Rails.
THE MOST SCARY PART IS THIS: "His designs became very popular in the 1950s and 1960s and were extensively copied around the world."

LOL...this is playing out like a Daytime Soap Opera.  Smile
Hi everyone, awesome archeological finds so far!

Can someone also find the link between these toys and plarail?  Angel

(I've bookmarked this thread - keep up the good work!)

Which toys specifically? Looks like real life vehicles.
Hi Plarnold

We miss your face around here. I don't see any Toys in the Link you provided.
