Blue Plastic Tracks

I found this Plarail Motorised Thomas whilst searching for items to buy, I wondered if it was in any way special due to the decoration it has on it, but it does look like the decoration was NOT added by the manufacturer, can anyone clear this up for me if you know anything, I've never seen this anywhere before and I'd like to know if its something special,

I have seen these before..
There is also a “painted Thomas” version like the “Thomas makes a mess” release.
They both have the exact same type of stickers applied to them as well.
I have tried to message the seller about their authenticity, but have never received a reply.
My best guesses are that it is a sticker set that is commonly used in Japan to decorate Thomas’, or that it is either something that is bought for that specific purpose, a sticker set that is given away at the expo, or just a popular custom made sticker set sold on the Japanese internet.

@TheDiamondDalek, It appears some children just stuck some stickers onto the thomas, nothing else to say.

@GGF that's what I thought, I think I'd agree with what Muddy said, they might just be popular stickers

I researched this a while back and found that they were stickers included with a special book (they are official). I believe there were a few different versions.

Thanks TRA, do you have any idea if this particular thomas can therefore be classed as a 'rare' item or is it just about as common as every other stock standard plarail thomas?

It might be worth a little more than a regular Thomas, but not much. The stickers aren’t that hard to find, and the Thomas itself is not in very good condition.
