Kickstarter is a funding project, where individuals can invest from £1 upwards, to bring a project.
The guys in this instance, are hoping to produce an N gauge model.
I must say, I am really impressed by Kickstarter, maybe we could bunch together to have a model made one day ?

making a prototype can be expensive especially when you hire somebody to do it for you.
