Blue Plastic Tracks

Hi all I found this one last week and it was not running so I got it running yesterday (it needed a new motor). Anyhow I can't find any information about this item, I did research U-Mate toys and I found out they are also known as Tomica-Mate, The train is a licensed Gullane Thomas product marked 2004 made in China. So went to run the train and it does not fit tomy track as the gauge of the wheels is too narrow but it does suit the take along/take n play diecast track. A very interesting item that I thought I would share with you guys.

Thats an odd one and really not that old. You would think there would be more information on it since its only been since 2004.
