There are a few questions that I would appreciate answers to if you have the time

First: the range of trains is bewildering, is there a guide or summary to the range anywhere please?

Second: I have seen a few videos and some seem to scuttle quickly like the red/blue thunder, are there any that go a more sedate pace please?

Third: Does this site have a gallery please?.

There is no photo gallery however some members post their plarail collection on their website.
thanks

now realised that the steam trains with powered tenders go a more realistically sedate pace

For Thomas, look on the Thomas Trackmaster Wiki.

I'm still searching for the ultimate non-Thomas Plarail listing/database. I feel sure that it must be there on the Japanese web somewhere, I just haven't found it yet.
thanks

there seem to be various categories apart from thomas, high tech, steam. freight and commuter, much more than i realised for our boy's (non thomas) set some 15 yrs ago
If you want to a lot of trains that are or have been available I like to use a couple sites for research.

First there is an Online place called Hobby Search which has both new releases and discontinued in the Plarail section here... Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and on the left hand column you will see the Plarail section with links to various categories. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10048758

Then there is a site from one of our members here that is very informative. Gerisplarail1's Plarail Depot with lots of pictures of his collection with descriptions. http://myplaraildepot.weebly.com/

Lastly, take your time browsing around our various forums here at BluePlasticTracks as there is a wealth of information accumulated over time.

Sorry if it doesn't work. Ask another member to give you the URL.
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.
Thanks - unfortunately I cannot open the link but maybe that is because I am away from home using an iPad.
Do many of the trains have two speeds please?
