Not sure what else is in the pipeline, I'm hoping for a Star Wars Rapi:t - hopefully better done than the PlaRail full size version.

Nigels,

I was wondering what you meant by 'Shine' Shinkansen in the Advance series since I thought I already owned most of the series.

The new set you are referring to is not new. It is the "W7 Hokuriku Shinkansen Kagayaki IR Control Set" which comes with the W7 Plarail Advance train and an ACS remote set. The reason it may show up as "new" in some places is because the original "First Edition" release is over and the ones on the market are now the "Normal Edition".
"Kagayaki" translates to "shine".

The difference between the First Edition and Normal Edition for the W7 Advance is that the Limited Edition one came with 4 x Panasonic Evolta batteries for you to start playing with it immediately.

Phew!

I thought I was missing out!

Hey Plarnold,

Thanks for the clarification, all I know is it new to me and was shown as one of the key new trains in the Tomy video that featured all the other new stuff so my assumption was it was a new release also Smile

Either way I don't mind so long as I got one!

Cheers, Nigel
