new stuff for sunny

ok, grab some snacks and a drink, this is gonna be a long post!

first up, my warehouse layby has been picked up. this was a good buy! theres $330NZD worth of product here. each item was 40% off, bringing it down to around $200. then i got a letter last week, saying if my layby was paid in full by a certain date, i would get a $15 discount! LOL. gotta love mega savings like that.
this store doesnt have much space for laybys, so they sent the letters to try and make some space. ive seen the room when i worked there, and wouldnt want to try and find anything. a total shambles.

a complete castle quest, bought before the other one was reduced.

now for the good part! my first shipment from jauce arrived, about a week after i requested it. EMS was the cheaper option for me, and i paid a little extra for them to repack it. they did an amazing job! bubble wrap, air-bag packing and paper on the trains. the trees and plakids were inside baggies and then bubble wrapped.

60th anniversary metallic thomas set, new in the box. i will likely open it over the weekend, and it will be gently ran now and then.

my powerful gordon. i bought the coach seperately, since it seems thats what he was sold with. also means i dont have to split my grumpy thomas coach set.

ucwepns powerful gordon, slightly sun yellowed. he was bought with the coaches shown

4 of the 5 plakids from the mt fuji set

i will get better photos over the weekend.

better photos of the gordons face on. sorry for the watermark, but ive had photos stolen before and feel the need to protect this one best i can.

I wish I could do that, I have a lot of money, but I have to use it to buy a sleeping bag for scouts. You are all very lucky

Nice purchases, I think we seem to be in sync or something because I bought those same TrackMaster things in the first four pictures last week! :p

Hey I've made sure that no pictures of yours ever go onto the wikia without your permission again, honestly you don't have to get worried about it. If I had known back then that some users had been uploading them, I would have deleted them sooner.

thanks all. the second powerful gordon is ucwepns. he doesnt use jauce, so i got it for him. however, i get to gaze in awe at the twins for a few days yet, lmao.

trainman, nothing beats a decent sleeping bag! i have one on my bed in the winter, and even at 20 years old its not bad, but can only imagine how much warmer a good one would be.

jdog, thanks for that. i did try and message someone on wikia when i first saw my pics on there years ago, and never got a reply. however, that happening did cause me to take some steps to protect things from others who might do the same. so not a bad thing really, just irritating that whoever hadnt even asked. if they hadve, i would have stuck a watermark on and sent them a high res copy. oh well, its in the past. Big Grin

now, for something else that arrived today! a real surprising buy, it was better than i ever thought it would be.

the 3 train set i got for $75 on friday night.

all 3 trains are still inside their original bags with the padding between each piece. amazing! the box had been opened, but thats as far as they got it seems. the same seller also had a stack of geronimo stilton books which i got for my niece, and those are in the same pristine condition.

the middle car of that one set is a bit discolored. no idea why. must have been something in the plastic that leached over time maybe.
it says shinkansen series 100 last run 2003.9.16. geri, can you shed some light on this?

not sure what the story is behind this.

ambitious japan!

this seems to be info on the trains, but i cant read any of it.
