NEW LINES IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE SYSTEM

Video shows the eastern part of the system only. The layout is changed so now the main eastern lines 301 and 302 are circular lines opposite one to another. But, instead to just make a circle, lines 301 and 302 are serving also the elevated loop and the island loop, respectively. There is a common new stop of those lines on the newly builded Peace Avenue (Prospekt mira) next to the Sunny Street Loop Station. There are 20 new RMZ City buildings added.

Fantastic Dr-No. I really like this angle on the rails. The angle of the buildings at the end of the nearer two blocks of building looks so cool.

Thanks, Super! Thanks, Muddy!

Super, that angle was actually created by accident. I planned much simpler curve, but then I noticed that the trains (especially those with the sound unit in the intermediate car,  which makes them heavier) are having trouble to manage the switch and turn right just after they climbed the slope rail. They would just stop there. So I put a straight track (with the little bridge) between the upper end of the slope and the switch and solved the problem. As it turns out, that determined the angle of the rails and the buildings at the end of the new avenue as the simple curve was not more possible. And so a new street was created. I like it too, it became a unique place in my layout. Smile

I'm glad you like it, Muddy, but I'm really no expert in making videos... Look, I manage to catch my foot in the picture at 8:06! Big Grin

PLARAIL TRAINS & LINES 25: Thomas Wrapping Trains / Keihan 700 Set | 京阪700形きかんしゃトーマス号 (プラレール)

I wanted this set for a looong time! Coloured rails, country station with the clock on the WC, picture of the real Keihan 700 on the time-table and specific colours, it's a cool set! I think I read somewhere that this is the only "Thomas & Friends" labeled set without a Thomas & Friends character train...

I found it on eBay and it was marked as "used" + "unopened"(?). I asked the seller what does he mean by that, and he said that the box can show some wear, but the content wasn't opened. It came today with "sealed" box (with tape), and everything inside was factory packed, new. Even the box is mint. So it's actually NIB! My lucky day! Hooray!

And the Keihan 700 is a beautiful little one speed 2-cars commuter. It's a wrapping train, but not whole wrapping - windows and doors are not just stickers, they are "real". Because of that, in my opinion it's one of the best Tomy Thomas & Friends wrapping train (of course with Keihan 3000 Thomas Wrapping Train). And it looks good on the layout with my Keihan 600 (The Police Train).

The set:

PLARAIL TRAINS & LINES 26: Special Rapid Service (Series 225)

Well made Plarail trains: closed body, nice silver color, front/back in a different shade of silver; roof is painted gray, but the air-conditioning devices on the roof are silver. Nice details on the sides of the body. Very realistic model. Two speed engines.

These trains have nice sound, especially the station announcement sound and the stopping sound. I have two of them, and they have slightly different station announcement sounds. That's cool! And I think it's made on purpose...Three out of four of my Enoden trains w/sound have different horns too.
