Interesting find. Is it Tomy? It sort of looks like toad, but definitely is not him.

Looks like a cargo van, or one of the vans from a close shave.

Thanks 'ripley, Idk what brand it is yet..it still hasn't shipped so I haven't held it yet, but being motorized with a face and a switch made it a must have!!

If it won't run on the blue track, It should still perform nicely on the roadway!!Smile

I believe it's a TOMY Capsule Plarail Troublesome Van, missing the front coupling.
Does this look about right?

It's ment to eliminate the need to wind up the engines (Or add power to unpowered engines) from my understanding.
I believe they all have TOMY somewhere on the bottom.

The whole Thomas wikia page on them is over here.

They run on smaller blue plastic tracks, and TOMY has also produced some non-Thomas ones as well. It's kinda hard to find them in the U.S., I've never seen any of them at retail.
There's quite a size difference.

Thanks Duck!!
Yes that's exactly it!! Very much appreciatedSmile
It's funny that they'd make it battery powered as an alternative to winding them...kinda redundant to winding them at all then, and really defeats the whole concept.

Muddy,

There's quite a few of related items listed on the fleabay UK site; Thomas Capsule Toys

Cheers, Nigel

Thanks Nigel's,
But Caps are the very last thing I need to explore any intrest in!!Smile
One with a funny face and a motor is plenty!!
