Costco USA reduced storage wheel with Golden thomas + 16 engines price down by $7 to $19.97.
Not a bad price, actually, it's almost the cost of trains only if you consider blind bags at $1.50 (US)

Found SpongeBob 9 packs at a Walmart yesterday in Sacramento, they had 3 pack out got them all. Also had DC pack with scarecrow troublesome truck and 2017/1 trains. Great haul.

On vacation in Las Vegas...lol my honey and I went minis hunting. Found a Platinum Thomas(got it of course) and the 3 or 4? new 3 packs. Didn't get pick those up though. I'll wait til the blind bags come out. I'm not adding any more extras to the mix if I can help it. Also found take n play Victor, Sir Handel and Stafford. Pretty happy

I wish I was on west coast, things hit there first, and by the time we get them, it's all gone. I guess they distribute toys from California or Oakland distribution centers, when they arrive on containers on vessels since most toys go directly yo LAX or LGB from China due to much lower shipping costs compared to New York. However, it does cost a lot to truck them via distribution centers, so I am surprised that FP does not distribute them from East Coast as well.

I grabbed Streamlined Thomas and Ashima Take+Play the other day, but sad to see that unidirectional magnets are gone and now they are one-way magnets. The older Take & Plays don't make as strong connection with the new ones.

Update:
Target now has both 2016/4 and 2017/1 blind bags on East Coast.
Walmart still has only 2016/3 on shelves, but with one exception, Walmart now has the latest 3-Train packs that include the Night Time and Space themes on shelves, as well as Spongebob sets. These are as of 11/7 morning.

I was able to complete my 2016/4 and 2017/1, I was even able to find Platinum Thomas, which I paid $8 to get from Australia a month ago, not to mention the add'l I had to pay to get the 3-packs above. Learned my lesson..

I stopped at one today but looked like someone already went through the box before me as I only found Fruit Chews Thomas, Night Time Emily and Duck.

with huge thanks to yalllow, i believe i have finished 2016, with the exception of the insects. i am correct in thinking all the new releases after them can be classed as 2017?
