That’s really cool! Like Great Gordon Fan mentions, it’s a very clever optical illusion. You can see that they trick your eye by making the screen appear farther back than it really is.
And Super…. Yeah, those cardboard glasses with the blue and red lenses that really didn’t work. Ah, remember when there was a craze on UHF stations back in the 70s-80s where they sell those glasses so you could watch a movie on TV in 3D? That also didn’t work very well.
I remember a better version at the 84 World’s Fair (Goodness, I’m dating myself here!) and an even better version a decade or so later when IMAX theaters were a big thing.
