Question: How do you add those Emoticons in your Comments?

there's 15, but there a "get more" button. i haven't tried that one out though. also, if you make smiles with you keyboard, it will turn into an emoticon (I think that's what they are called) or the smiles.

Thanks Perky   but what I really meant was the Comments on YouTube but I guess I was a bit vague on that above.

Maybe you should try pressing the windows button with dot (.) at the same time, and it could open up a selection of emoticons. i have tested it on youtube comments, and it works! it may not work on some other devices, as i tested.

Question: How do you add those Emoticons in your Comments?

On YouTube, when you want to add an emoticon, after left-click on your mouse, the drop-down menu magically appears, you choose "Emoticons" (with the right click), and pick some.

Or, while that category ("Emoticons") is open, you can start typing the name of the emoticon you want, and it appears! So: type some text > left-click to open the menu > right-click on "Emoticons" >  type the name of the emoticon you want. If you type the word "heart", for example, 26 different emoticons containing a heart will be shown!

I suppose you don't use a smartphone for writing comments on YT, Super, but it's much easier, the emoticons are already there, in your (virtual) phone-keyboard, so you can use your phone emoticons.

You are correct about using a smart phone as I have never had one. On YouTube using my computer, I don't get any Drop Down List when Left Clicking in the Comments
