A 2016 Plarail Ryan???

If only the Wikia would've had proper REFERENCES, right after new information like this, like on Wikipedia. Then again, when I built my Hebrew version, I declined my sudden helper, Nehorai's suggestion to create a reference template, all because they don't have them.

Anyway, I didn't think Plarail would ever make Thomas items ever again, once Mattel got the international rights. It is very nice to see there will be a Ryan.

Is there actually somewhere that says they didn't lost their liscence? If not, whatever. I'm just happy they're still making stuff and things!

Has anyone who can translate what the placard says on the table? I contacted the maker of the video and I think all he did was take the same picture Jdogman posted and cropped it. Haven't found if the picture was taken from a full video like from one of the many 2016 Osaka Japan Plarail Expos that are on YouTube. Seems funny that the only evidence we have is no evidence at all because there is no Ryan in the picture since he supposedly is behind the sign. So unless we see him or have a translation of the Placard that says its him or an official announcement then I remain skeptical...hopeful but skeptical.

That might help, but the only weights I have are two cylindrical ones from a spare Percy. It won't help it when it gets stuck on the ends of the curved ascending track tho.

On the picture showing the close-up on the little sign, I can make out it says TS-14, and I can sort of make out プラレールライアン&スキフ which translates to Plarail Ryan and Skiff. Plus on the large sign in the middle of the circle of track, there are black and white images of Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure, and if you look really hard, the lowest black and white image on the right makes out Ryan and Skiff.

This was not taken at the 2016 Osaka Japan Plarail Expo as the Thomas set-up was different. It looks like a Toy Fair but I don't know Japan's toy fairs like I'm aware of the New York and London fairs.

I can see that this product is happening, but listings on a Wikia can't be used as primary sources, unless there's a picture. I always do research after I read something on a Wikia. No matter how good they are, all they do is repeat known information.

Many thanks for the translation Jdogman. You would think if the person who took the picture there would have at least taken one of Ryan if he is there. Maybe there is no train just the sign advertising it.
