have a question for you!

one of the guys at the club has started buying tomy thomas for his grand kids. he brought his few along last night so i could give them a clean up. in the box, he had 3 thomas. two identical from 92, and one from 95 thats different!
it has no middle wheels and no place for there have been any. on the frame, in front of the front wheels are two pieces with square green stickers. they are molded as part of the red frame. it seems vaguely familiar, but i cant recall where. theres no speaker and it has a standard coupler so didnt come attached to anything.

no pic as i didnt have my camera with me. will take it next week in the hopes he brings it again.

Sounds like either a Checkout Thomas that where put in checkout lines or a fake toy or one that isn't licensed. Maybe it's the original celebratory Thomas.

at a guess, im picking it is genuine, has the same stamps underneath as the other two, except for the 1995 bit.
we didnt have checkout ones here that i can recall. hopefully he brings it on thursday and i can get a photo of it then. other than the green part and the lack of middle wheel, everything else checks out. i opened the motor box and all is correct in there, even if he doesnt run well.
