So with my fascination of the TnA engines and finding out how cool those are, I have been thinking about the Talking Plarail "50" phrase engines.
- are these all the model # OT-0x (1-5) ?
- Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, and Hiro?
- are they worth purchasing?
Any other thought or information that may sway me one way or the other? Thanks all.
I'll power them all up tomorrow and post you a video ripley802!!!
Awesome video Muddy. Thanks so much for that. I really like them and think they would definately be a good addition to the collection. After hearing the TnA versions in Japanese I am hooked on the talking engines. Thanks again.
Well Muddy, I was pretty set in getting these and the video you did sent me over the top.
Just purchased all 5 from Amazon. Total was around $100, but I think it should be worth it.
Side note. I am seriously considering selling a lot of my Trackmaster revolution sets to get more Plarail/Tomy. Just so hooked on this stuff. Between eBay and Jauce it is going to break the bank.. Lol..
Yay. They arrived. I was not expecting them so it was a please my surprise.
I have only taken out Thomas and HIRO so far, but my thoughts are, they are very cool. I love the Japanese talking items so the stations and engines are very interesting to me. These are nice compared to the TnA engines as they are a little less fragile.
All were purchased on Amazon.
A great haul of new trains Ripley, good work. Does that blue express coach with James have the tacking workings in it or is it plain. They would be a nice addition to the red and green line of Express Coaches.

Thanks super. Not sure what you mean on the James coach. Either way I habit un-boxed that one yet. Too much came in at once. Lol.

Is it full of the electronics for his voice with a on/off button in the roof or is the inside vacant as the red and/or green Express Coaches are?
The Japanese talking ones have the sound units in the engines/tenders I believe Super, the coaches or whatever are just extra rolling stock like they are with the standard PlaRail engines
