Based on the current direction what'll probably happen is that they'll release characters they find relevant or Marketable, Dodge was only carried over bc he sold well if I remember correctly. However, Sidney, Arry, and Bert are all likely to make their way into the range next. It does, however, seem to be SLIGHTLY increasing in quality as they at least gave Paxton something relevant to what he pulls, a slate truck from the BMQ.

I am very surprised about henry or Terence being included. Were these supposed to be released for last year or the year before? Because with the news of season 25 i would not expect henry or Terence to be included. If we got these in 2014 when trackmaster revolution was introduced, Mattel maybe would have not had such a fail with their trackmaster revolution line... just food for thought.
The 3 piece sets are only coming because there is no greatest moments / tie in releases . They do not feature on the 1st quarter release schedule from Mattel so may be an exclusive .
I'll probably get the Percy pack, I really like the Troublesome Truck faces. I might get the Thomas and Terence pack, It's nice to get a Terence based on his CGI model, though I do kind of wish Thomas had his snowplow as he did in the episode the pack is based on (Terence Breaks the Ice). I'm not too interested in the Henry/Winston pack, as I prefer the Plarail Winston.
I'm definitely getting the Thomas and Percy packs, these are actually really good!

I thought the improved Annie and Clarabel were unexpected, but these announcements are even more welcome. It took this long for any updated version of Terence to be made in general, even though he was brought back two and a half years ago. Then again, it was the time when all the attention and resources went into BWBA, so the only real presence of the returnees was in the TV series. He appears to be a fairly more logical size compared to TOMY's "chibi" one, and I'd like to see how he will look on the ground. It's really nice to have a proper tanker again for the first time since TrackMaster 1, because the closest option available until now were the dropper holders from Real Steam Thomas/Percy (which looked like Vanderbilt tenders). Now that there's a mould for it, it really should be reused for at least some of the familiar variants like Milk, Oil, Fuel and Cream. Looking forward to whatever other uses buyers will find for the face. About time Mattel made a Winston that's like the TOMY one, making a Push Along version basically redundant now. The Sir Topham Hatt figure looks great (might be one of the best sculpted versions I've seen of him), but he's unfortunately too big and makes Winston too tall. Hopefully he will be removable and have moving legs for sitting and standing. While I'm not sure why they come with Henry, I can't think of an engine that does have to do with Winston. If they were to sell rolling stock only packs again, he should've come with maintenance themed trucks and signs and maybe a unique piece of track to "inspect". My favourite of these would have to be the one with Terence.
He probably comes with Henry to tie in with the Series 19 Episode "Henry Spots Trouble."
