my first impressions on some of the june/july releases

not that impressive.  I may get this set because i am diehard of the troublesome trucks.  I have a feeling I will have to apply the troublesome face sticker myself. 

Plarail fifth anniversary
the station platform is way too short.  Is it me or the train platforms are shorter than before

hard to tell if the engine motorized.  Even removing the the sign on the roof, i suspect the engine is too high to clear tunnels.  It would be fun if i use load the hopper cars from the hopper chute.  The hopper cars' buckets are sticking way out from the side.  I don't think the hopper cars' overhang on the curves may pose clearance issue on the double curve track.

Half-length stop rail seems to be the new standard in sets in recent years apparently.

it doesn't seem real class plarail as popular as some think. they still have them for sale.

5th Anniversary DX Edition! Let`s Play with Tomica! Railroad Crossing Set was released on 13th July.

It seems that the clear body has a glitter effect incorporated within it.
