Yes solid axles with no stub ends so easy to swap for an old Thomas axle by swapping the wheels for the black ones. That's one thing I liked about the original is the extra detail but the cost of decent C size batteries and their run time is appalling. I would like to add window stickers one day or paint them on or something.
A new Ucwepn YouTube Video has now released...

Trackmaster 2 2014 Gator *Tale of the brave* Unboxing review and first run

Pretty evident that you don't care much for these new trains when don't care if it falls on the floor. lol. That direct gearing must be the cause of the power boost with the stock motor and that was really funny to see what a Power Dash does to it. Are the R/C cars that these motors go in a direct worm drive like these? Great and honest video Ucwepn, thanks
do the new bodies fit the old chassis? good to see you putting your dads tankers to good use, hehe.

must admit, i dont mind the new chassis on the new characters, but the lack of run-ability on tomy is off putting, since when i have displays, i cant babysit the layout the whole time. needs to be semi-autonomous

i mean,I don't hate gator.he looks way better than what trackmaster did to timothy.(I only saw timothy in a picture.)though,I wish ucwepn would make gator run with the power dash motor.then that would be coolTongue
I like Timothy as a Charector and i would love his model, if it was just made better. I honestly will pick up only a few things from the new Trackmaster like scared James and maybe a truck pack to get a look at them but that's probably it. I really don't like these and I say bring back the old ones. Fisher Price is about to take a HUGE hit with people quiting to by these so called "trains"

Hi Yes I don't much care for it and its the last one I will be buying sadly. Really a shame because I was excited for the new range with new types of locos and the possibilities for customs etc but they are just awful and run poorly. Add to that the light weight and zero traction you have a very poor product overall. It makes my whinging about previous releases look very petty indeed when I would much rather have any of them over this new type. These bad reviews hurt my channel but I have to be honest with people, they need to know the truth! I know when I'm thinking of buying something I look at a review or look for a video first, so hopefully I have helped at least some people to make an informed choice if their kids are wanting these new trains but do not have the new track system.

I'm not sure about the new RC and if they are direct drive, I have also not pulled apart an older one for a long long time so I can't remember.
And the next Ucwepn Video is...

Trackmaster HiT R/C Hiro **Quick Run** & Nano Falcon flight.

LOL...everytime I caught a glimpse of the Nano Helicopter I was trying to swat it away like a pesky fly. I hope she was armed to take care of the Zombie horde heading west...Big Grin It is very cool.

Looks like a hostage situation now going on over at Maithwaite Station. Smile

Did you get more of those ultra rare Troublesome tankers?

I can't even get a glimpse of any rubber traction tires on Hiro. Could the slippage be due to the tires not standing proud enough from the wheel? It does look like quite a lot of slippage even when moving sometimes especially around the curves.

And is this a picture of the very first Ucwepn mod or a new Trackmaster line coming soon?

Hi Super, allot of the RC Hiro's (and other early RC) problems with traction is due to the heavy weight and lack of power/speed. Most engines can overcome a slippery section of track as they carry more momentum and wheel spin but this is quite slow and man did the batteries run down fast! Yes I have 7 troublesome tankers now and 11 cattle wagons! a very good amount and I got them from my dad who is moving on to electric trains soon, a shame but ah well but I guess it takes some special dedication to the plastic to stay with these trains Smile

The Vline (orange and grey) is a papercraft I did quite a while ago from a cardboard model kit from the late 80's or early 90's It sits on a plarail Kintaro railcar.
Your Dads moving on to the electrics...who is the lucky one getting all his Tomy stuff?

You must have the biggest collection of those troublesome tankers. I haven't even heard of one yet alone 7 and all with one collector.

Eleven cattle cars, wow, that should make for an interesting looking train haul.

So was the orange and grey Vline a kit you bought or did you take a kit and modify it?
