Thats strange, I read another review where it asks the question...Was Philip ever at the Blue Mountain Quarry?
I thought you already had a Philip.. Looks like I was wrong.
I've had this wave for several months I just hadn't video'd them yet. I don't play with them until they have been opened on camera for the first time. I have the next wave to do as well (James bee, Thomas jet etc.).
Well that Phillip apart from having a wonky wheel and looking really really ugly seems quite a good runner, did you modify that one like the previous 'revolutions' engines or does it just naturally run better?
I have to modify every single one by filing down the activation/locking tab, they are good runners but they are too light as well. I am yet to see a set or trackpiece from revolution that requires such a low hanging activation/locking tab and I feel that it was added just to sell their new track system and create a compatibility issue. There are always those who will come along and say "but they run fine on my track unmodified" That's wonderful for you but sorry I don't think your layout is the same as mine on an uneven soft surface with different types of track pieces like stop n go, double points etc, it's hard enough to get smooth running even with a nice older loco at times.

Howdy Super!

This is probably a direct reference to the Season 19 episode "Philip to the Rescue" when he takes empty cars to the quarry (unspecified, and is still debated in the fanbase about which quarry he took said empties to) before he comes to the rescue. I shan't spoil the episode for you, but I recommend watching the U.S. dub if you are interested-- James' new voice actor is splendid for the job.

Nice video, wonder why they never offered the Old Slow Coach by herself. I think I have seen her without the bunting but think she always came in a bigger set. I would have loved to have several of those coaches....defaced of course Big Grin
As would I Super, a very attractive GWR chocolate & cream coach indeed.

This is an awesome set. I have watched a few on Jauce but keep missing them. Very cool.
