I’m interested to see how that all fits together because we’ve used all three types of track on the same layout for the past few years. As my son has gotten older and we’ve gotten more track, he has generally preferred to build layouts with all the same type of track.
We will have to see how we go, we want 3 tracks running in parallel so we can have anything running without need to modify any trains.
That sounds somewhat  similar to what we’ve done. I built a long stretch of double track main line with Trackmaster 2 and dedicated Plarail or Trackmaster 1 lines. Since Plarail and TM1 engines work fine over TM2 tracks and TM2 track would fit the Plarail bridges we used, that was the choice for single track sections, switch points, turn around loops and wyes. I do want to try some Trainlab Plarail to TM2 adapters to make the transitions a little less complicated.

My motive power is almost entirely Plarail and my daughter runs mostly Plarail and Trackmaster 1. My son has a large amount of TM2 as well as Plarail and TM1. He also has a huge collection of Trackmaster 2 track, so it’s much easier to for us to accommodate the TM2 trains and track than to try and modify them all.
Honestly, my sanity isn’t intact enough to modify that many engines! Confused
Yes there will be TOMY track and Trackmaster 2 track as well as a larger gauge 3rd track Big Grin

Whaaaat??? Huh
Lego Smile Yep my first ever venture into lego trains with set 60197 and heaps of extra track.
Ohhh, exciting! Smile
Built the train today it's the new power functions 2.0 "powered up" type which is more compact and needs no receiver, also uses bluetooth and is app control enabled. I may quickly review it in the coming days.
